Franchise | 76 Home Based Franchise Solutions
While doing some research on Google about home based franchise businesses, I stumbled upon an article about the advantages of a home based franchise. In the article I have found that a lot of business professionals believe that anybody looking to invest in a business should look for a professional franchise business. As I read further, the writer was talking about professional home based franchise businesses.
The article was pretty exciting because I think the best thing anyone can do for themselves is start a home based business. Since I'm pretty passionate about franchises I was excited to read the article.
Why a Home-Based Franchise Business?
Prospects looking at home-based opportunities need to consider the number of advantages and not pay attention to the disadvantages. One should not only look at the investment cost as a basis for making a decision, but what type of ROI one can receive. These types of business opportunities (home-based) should be assessed as per the same criteria as other franchise businesses (non-home based). While this category does offer the least amount of franchise choices, a home-based franchise can be just as exciting and rewarding as any dynamic retail or fast-food enterprise.
My research on Google about home based franchises. For the most part of my research I have found that if your considering a home based business, your best bet is going with a home based franchise.

Franchise | 31 Franchise System for the Business Professional
I was reading some posts in a forum on the Internet about franchises, and which franchise systems seemed to be the most professional, the best, and the most affordable. I came across this one post and I had to reply to the writer. Below is an excerpt of my comments:
Lance, in your post, you mention that "the best categories for profitability seem to be service franchises, auto franchises and unique categories." I agree with that statement with one exception, finding qualified technicians. Finding skilled, well trained technicians, in the "information world" that seems to have enveloped us, is quite difficult. We all know that employees (especially skilled technicians) can make or break a business.
When spending money on a franchise system that could provide a professional business person with a nice income, I'm not sure service franchises, and/or auto franchises should be where the franchisee should spend their money. As a former auto/truck business owner of twenty-one years, I know how hard it is to find qualified technicians, one of the reasons I sold the business.
Although I did not own a franchise business, I was a sole-proprietor, I still know how fast the vehicles, machinery, and/or equipment is changing. So spending money on a franchise, and then finding individuals to repair the equipment, will not be an easy task, hence, my feeling about purchasing a franchise in the service industry.
I believe there is a better solution for business professionals looking for a franchise, a franchise where they do not have to spend their life savings. To learn more about an alternative to a franchise business that I'm talking about, go to a franchise solution.

Franchise | 32 Franchise - FAQ's
Franchises play an integral role in our lives and the American society in general. You're probably a frequent customer at the local Quizno's or Subway franchise. You may even know people who have found success through a franchise business. Perhaps you've even considered purchasing a franchise yourself. If so, you probably have some burning questions you haven't quite been able to find the answers for. You're not alone!
The current economy and society have brought new concerns to the surface about the franchise industry. Here are a couple of questions (along with my answers) that are asked quite frequently:
1. Should I own my own business before buying a franchise?
Some franchisers would prefer that you didn't, but I believe that it couldn't hurt. The franchisor's reason why they prefer you not to have had you own business is, because of bad habits that they'd have to spend time breaking, if your business was in the same industry. You'd have [management] styles that may not be compatible with theirs, and the normal and natural thing would be for you to always slip back into your comfort zone.
On the other hand, having experience working in any business gives you discipline. You understand how to work with customers, meet deadlines and take on responsibility as opposed to relying on your co-workers and your secretary in a big company. All in all, I would rather have someone who spent years in business, but it's a personal preference among franchisers.
Either way, a lot of franchisers realize that people who come out of training remember about 20 percent of it, and then they struggle for a while until they grasp the rest of it through practical experience in the [franchise] setting.
2. Would it be wise to cash out some equity from my house to invest in a franchise?
Given today's interest rates on home loans, I would say go for it. What do you have to loose? Franchises are modestly priced. Even though, I would be careful with any investment. However, there's really no difference between investing in a franchise and investing in a stock. If you invest in a stable, secure franchise (stock) with a great track record and good performance, there's not a lot of risk.
On the other hand, if you invest in a franchise based on a trend or fad, or one that you don't know a lot about and haven't done your research on, then I would say no. I wouldn't invest a dime. But remember, that's just an investment decision. Most people use the equity in their homes because it's usually their major asset and they can borrow against it. Make sure whatever you're investing in is a rational investment. One more piece of advise, do not jump into something just because the salesman sold you on it.

Franchise | 1124 Choose a Professional Franchise Business for Your Second Job
Facing some expenses in the future? Need a new car? Do you have a son or daughter going off to college? Want a new house? If you're facing some future expenses, why not start your own business? That's what I would recommend before I went out to get a second job. WHY? You can make a lot more money owning a business than working for someone.
Typically, there are many reasons why people choose to take on the challenge and responsibility of a second job rather than start their own business. People rarely take on a second job for pleasure. However, many people considering a second job hardly ever think about other options, like starting a home business, or buying a professional franchise business. A home business or a professional franchise business offers three benefits that the typical second jobs does not.
The first benefit that a home business or professional franchise business offers, over most of the second jobs available, is flexibility. A home business or a franchise makes it easier to work around your primary job and family commitments. There are very few second jobs that offer the flexibility of a home business. A home business can literally be run when and where you like. In fact, you could even work your home business of franchise business during your lunch hour. Unlike a second job, it's easier to get time off for holidays and vacations when you're the boss.
The second benefit of a home business or professional business franchise is you get to choose what that business is. You can take advantage of your own interests, skills, and God given talents, which is not something most second jobs offer. The likelihood of finding a second job that fits your gifts and your schedule is probably somewhere between slim and not available. The Internet can be a tremendous resource of information on every imaginable franchise, home business, or topic of interest; just do a search on Google. I'm confident you can find your niche on Google!
Finally, a home business or professional franchise business offers on-the-job training. With a plethora of web conferencing systems, it's easy to get training from a variety of experts in any field. No matter what you decide, there is a wealth of information on the Internet. Go to Google, and do a search. It can help you find the right professional franchise business so you can make your second job, a home business, both profitable and rewarding.
Remember, if you're looking to make extra money, look for a professional franchise business, one you can work from the comforts of your own home.

Franchise | 75 A Low Cost Franchise Business
Owning a franchise business takes hard work. Are you up to putting forth the effort it takes? Owning a franchise business can also take a lot of money, although it doesn't have to. There are plenty of low cost franchise businesses available, just search Google.
Back to putting forth the effort, even if you decide on a low cost business franchise, you will still have to put forth the effort to make it work. Running a business takes time, and effort to become prosperous, but like I said before, it doesn't have to take your life savings. A low cost franchise business may be an option for you.
I've mentioned this before in my posts because not everyone has the money to purchase a McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King. If you're like the majority of people, and you want to own a franchise business, take a look at a low cost franchise business. Go to Google, and type in, low cost franchise, and see what is available, you just may be surprised.
If you don't find what you are looking for, check out the information at low cost franchise business by clicking on the link. If you have any questions after checking it out, you can contact me for additional information. But remember, whether you choose a traditional franchise business, or a low cost franchise business, it still takes hard work to be prosperous. If you're up to the task, do your due-diligence.

Franchise | 72 How to build an online Franchise Business Using a Virtual Conference Room
Online home based franchise business methods are continually changing on the net. Professional home based business owners are becoming aware of the new and advanced tools that are available to them. Many online franchisees are searching for these tools to enhance the overall productivity of any online franchise business. This post is an attempt to explain how you can use a virtual conference room to enhance your franchise business.
With today's cutting edge technology, online virtual conference rooms are a must for any small home based franchise business. The virtual conference room I'm talking about is a product of Vereconference, the highly effective web conferencing system that makes communications for the online franchise business simple. Individuals login to a room via a web address (URL) or link; this link will take them directly to the conference room. From there people will listen to the trainer speak about any subject concerning your business. There is no need to travel to other cities, or states to get the necessary training. All of the training can be conducted right on your PC, via the Internet.
VereConference's VoIP online conference room comes with a variety of tools, including recording features where you can save the training in MP3 format for later listening. The atmosphere of a virtual conference room promotes education at its finest. I use the virtual conference room everyday for communications with other possible franchisees, to share marketing strategies and other business ideas, and with customers, to share information about our products. Giving and receiving information is easy with a virtual conference room. Communication concerning your business is a must for any franchise business owner.
Virtual conference rooms can be used to train your executives or sales people anywhere in the world. Any subject can be taught in the rooms to improve your franchise business.
The Home Business Marketing Group is a big proponent of virtual conference rooms. The ultimate team uses these rooms to keep their team organized and up to date on all company information.

Franchise | 612 Franchise Solution - Get to Know the Franchisor
If you are at all serious about owning a franchise business, make sure you get to know the franchisor. Invest time in getting to know all there is about the franchisor. How did he/she get started? What made him/her decide on franchising their business? What's the history of the franchise? Learn all you can about the franchisor, by asking questions, listening, and taking notes.
For your franchise to prosper, you need to be happy with not only the industry you'll be working in but also the people you will be working with. Remember, you'll be promoting and/or selling their name, their brand. The investment will be your own, but the name belongs to the franchisor; you're paying to market their products and/or services.
After you gather your information about the franchisor, review it. Ask questions to yourself, like is this the person, the people, or the organization I want to invest my money with? Are they the ones I really want to work closely with? Remember, your franchise business is almost like a marriage, between you and franchisor. Be sure this is where you want to invest you time and money.
